In-N-Out opening fourth Colorado location in Lakewood on Monday

A fourth Colorado In-N-Out Burger location is opening in Lakewood on Monday. It’s the third spot in the metro area, and if there’s anything to be learned from the last few openings,  traffic will be a problem.

Lakewood police shared their plan for dealing with the traffic at the new restaurant on South Wadsworth Boulevard, north of West Alameda Avenue.

They said if you’re headed to the drive-thru, go to West First Avenue, turn onto Teller Street, then go south on Teller to West Alameda Avenue. Take a right to get in the queue. Police and staff will be on hand to keep traffic flowing.

For those who want to dine in, drive from South Wadsworth Boulevard to West Bayaud Avenue, where you will follow flaggers and signs. Parking is also available at the nearby Belmar shopping center parking garage.

The restaurant will be open 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily except for Fridays and Saturdays, when it will stay open until 1:30 a.m. It has a one-car drive-thru lane, 74 seats inside and another 72 outside. About 80 people will work at the establishment.
