In celebration of Christmas in July — or just a marketing ploy; whichever — the Miracle franchise announced the locations of their crazy-popular Christmas bars, with four (!!) popping up along the Front Range this winter.
Via a Sippin’ Santa Instagram Takeover (their words; not ours), the locations of the 100 or so Miracle Pop-ups and 20 Sippin’ Santas were revealed. Denver will get not one, not two, but three — three! — ornament- and snowflake-drenched bars this year, Colorado Springs will get its first.
Miracle will return to Avanti Food & Beverage, which last year created a hipster Christmas wonderland that inspired hours-long waits for the pleasure of sipping on Christmapolitans and You’ll Shoot Your Rye Outs.
Colorado Springs is getting in on the Jingle Balls Nog action with Miracle at Allusion Speakeasy. Another Denver Miracle location is in the works, but has not yet been revealed. (Oh, the anticipation!)
New to the city this year is Sippin’ Santa, which sounds a lot like Miracle, but there’s sponsorship attached so it has a different name. Beachbum Berry Presents: Sippin’ Santa is a Christmas-meets-tiki bar, and a location has been confirmed in Denver but not named. (Again! The anticipation!)
This will be the sixth year for the holiday-themed pop-up bars, which originated in New York City, and the third season that they’ll be in Denver. The city’s first Miracle was inside the now-defunct Wayward restaurant.
Christmas bar zealots can start the adventing now — Miracle and Sippin’ Santa will open Nov. 25.
Updated July 10 at 12:33 p.m.The following corrected information has been added to this article: Because of a source’s error, the number of pop-up bars was misreported. There will be four bars; three in Denver and one in Colorado Springs.
