Westminster dwellers will soon get to choose between two locations of the hit breakfast chain Snooze for their weekend brunch excursions.
Snooze is opening its second outpost in Westminster — and 37th national restaurant — on May 15 near 144th Avenue and Huron Street. The first location is in Westminster Promenade off 104th Avenue.
At the north Westminster shop, Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes, Chile Verde Bennies and Dirty Drunken Chai Teas, among other Snooze specialties, will be served daily from the Orchard Town Center. There will be an outdoor patio with room for 50 patrons, plus dogs.
And over the next year or so, more popular Denver restaurant chains are expanding north to Westminster, such as Alamo Drafthouse and Bacon Social House.
Last week, Snooze opened its first restaurant in Colorado Springs. The brand already has stores in Boulder, Fort Collins and the Denver Tech Center, and in other states, including California, Texas and Arizona. Locally, it’s known for decadent breakfast fare and lengthy wait times.
